Tattoo of a little ladybug on my shoulder. To me, this represents good luck, and every time I look over, I’ll see it.
I WANT ONE.

This is my first tattoo. It is from the children’s story my mom always read to me when I was a kid.
HEYHEYHEYHEYHEYHEY, LOOK!
That’s one of the quotes I want!!!!!
(via blue-belle)
This only occurred to me in the last week, but I think a ladybug tattoo would be absolutely perfect - in a totally cliché way.
My mom and I have always had a thing with ladybugs. I guess it’s almost more like she has. They would show up in random paces when I was out with her as a kid (and I guess they’ve done the same thing with her and my little brother) and they still climb onto my finger as soon as it’s offered to them.
I get that ladybugs are totally popular now and whatever, but I’m really feeling like it’s a tattoo I need to get. Either with my mom or for her and on my own.

I was expressing my dilemma between my “Call me Katie or call me your guest.” piece and my Starry Night, as I want the quote in between my shoulder blades and the piece on my shoulder. She suggested that I incorporate the quote into the Starry Night piece, like as a gust of wind or something. Normally, I don’t like those kinda of ideas, but I actually think that’s a pretty clever one, especially since my love for Starry Night developed during the same general time that I wrote the song that the quote is from.

Thoughts?
I want it like crazy. I wantwantwant.
How will I ever save money to travel like this? I don’t even care. When I’ve got the cash, the ink is sinking in. I swear.

I feel like it’s become a sort of cult symbol for HP fans, and so most of its meaning (including possible positive interpretations) has been lost.
I just got this tattoo about a month ago, and it is by far my largest and most loved tattoo yet. I am obsessed with chest pieces and really admire other girls who have them, so it was only fitting. This was done by Jesse Buman at Drawing Room Tattoo Parlour and Gallery in Lawrenceville, Pittsburgh, Pa. She’s an amazing lady and one of the most talented and creative people in this city!
This is stunning!

…I would want a tattoo of two peas in a pod. Just a little sketched version, filled in with some easy green. For Cat and myself. I mean, it’s a frakking stupid tattoo, but still.

The first for me, the second for my mum. Maybe with some Harry Potter chapter stars or a lightning bolt or something indicative of the books.
As a kid, my mom read Harry Potter to me and whnever we’d finish a chapter, I’d ask “Just one more?” She didn’t always agree, but when she did, she’d say “Just one more!”
For me, it symbolises my love of the series and the special bond I share with my mum.

My 3rd tattoo. My tribute to Battlestar Galactica and I love wings
. Done by June at Tattoo City Art Studio, Kuala Lumpur
As much as I’m not into this symbol and the fact that so many BSG fans get it as their BSG tattoo, I really love that this person got in on their ankle, instead of the typical arm placement. :]

Part one of my Harry Potter sleeve.
So well done! This is incredible and I only hope that my Harry Potter pieces are as good.

Just woke up. Good morning world.
I actually really like this, too. I love how NYC and Starry Night look together and I like the spot, too. Oh, ideas ideas.

I really like the way this was done - the way it wraps around and is coloured and all that good stuff. More and more, I’m thinking that this could be the place for my Starry Night piece.

I want this on my foot. I don’t generally like foot tattoos, but this makes sense for me. I could explain, but being vague feels right.
